I'm looking at taking advantage of the current rebate on the Linksys WRT54G or WRT54GS router.

My question is regarding power requirements. My wife and I are stationed in Germany, and for some reason, they continue insisting on using 220V here no matter how many great deals I find on 110V stuff. :)

I know that some of you here must have this router sitting at your home.

If someone could please take a moment to move their desk and blow the dust off the power adapter, I would really like to know what the power input - output ratings are on it.

That way, I can also order the required power adapter if needed.

Thank you all in advance

i don't have the stuff right now, but i've done some search before because i also intend to buy one. If this is wrong please someone correct me. there's several revision :

the WRT54G revision 1.0 uses 5.0 V - for the amps i don't know
for WRT54G > revision 1.0 & WRT54GS uses 12V , 1A.

That is what I was afraid of... No simple solution. I will have to buy an adapter separately.

Thanks
