HELP - Linksys router keeps dying for no reason

This is driving me up a wall. We just got a WRT54G. There are two wireless clients, and two wired. I'm not sure about the wireless clients, but for some reason, it dumps the wired ones out of nowhere. ipconfig shows everything normal, but I can't ping the router. A simple reset fixes it, but I can't keep resetting this thing all day long.

It has the latest firmware (2.04.4). Any ideas what the heck would be causing this kind of behavior??

Thanks..

Ugh, now it's dying every 5-10 mins... all the lights on it are still on. It appears to be connected to the Internet just fine. When I try to ping it, I see my light flicker on the router...but I don't get a response from the router, and I can't connect anywhere.

OK, I think the problem was that I flashed the firmware and didn't do a factory reset afterwards. Now it works fine.

Or maybe not. This morning I woke up and I couldn't access a bunch of web sites (but some worked...sporadically). Then I couldn't ping the router. I did a reset, and now it's OK. What's wrong w/ this thing?
