Help linking to networks via WiFi and pfsense

Unheard

My friend and I are trying to link our networks together using wifi. My network at the house is pre-established using an off the shelf d-link router (which is connected to my cable modem, and provides wifi for computers inside my house). I have a box running pfsense that has 2 nics and a wifi card installed. I have one nic set to the lan (which is connected to the dlink router) the other nic set to wan (which is disconnected) and the wifi card set as opt1. I'm trying to determine which method I should use to link our two networks. I have his SSID and WPA-PSK key. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
