One goal of mine is learning to program for the iPhone.

I've been viewing some lynda lectures and the stanford Hegley lectures.

I'm pretty tangled. Any recommendations?

Have you been trying to do the corresponding assignments go with the standford lectures?

I found that diving in was the best way to start understanding protocol, delegates, etc.

My answer to this is always "Just start." Get XCode, the SDK, and a Mac if you don't have one, and make a program that opens a view with some text in it. When you encounter something you want to do, but lack the knowledge for, Google it. That's as effective a process as I know of.

Oh, and Objective C sucks hairy Goblin nuts.
