Help!! LCD and Touchpad on Laptop malfunctioning..

Hey fellow anandtechers.. i need some help from you guys..

my laptop is 2 years old and since then the warranty expired. the problem is that the LCD on my screen doesn't refresh all the time. another thing is that a 1/3 of the screen is permenately not refreshing, it's has a whitish tint on the top 1/3. about the touchpad, i think the pad itself needs replacement, it's a logitech board. (can that be replaced easily and where would i find one??).

BTW: NEVER BUY A UMAX ANYTHING!!~!! THEY BLOW!!
