HELP!! Laptop keyboard problem

Recently the keyboard on my laptop has gone haywire...when i press the 'a' key the caps lock turns on...when i press the b key the letters b and f show up instead of just b...other keys just dont work at all...anyone know how to fix this...have a presario v2000 laptop thanks

Try an external keyboard to confirm the issue, may just need to replace the keyboard.
