Hi guys,

I have this hybrid computer for travelling purpose, so I am not using it all the time. When I fully charge it before I shut it down and store it. after a week or so I took it out to use it for a little while so it won't get rusty

. But to my surprise the batteries drained to about 20% left.

Is it windows 8 cause that or the machine it self? Is there a way that I can completely shut it down. I can't even take out the batteries as I can't access to them.

Thank you.

no you need to go to the bios and diable - usb sleep charge.

Google it, it's the option that lets you charge your usb devices, phones/cameras etc while the computer is off. But it drains battery. Stupid feature imo.

It probably is that USB charging capability - Disable it. Also, if you are going to let it sit off for a week or more, I suggest you remove the battery. I only insert my battery when I am actually travelling. It is best stored as such at about 50% charge.

I can't access to the batteries. it is seal inside the tablet. not an option. I will look into the bios to see if that option is on.

Thanks.
