Help - K7T Pro2A Won't Boot

I've just installed a K7T Pro2A m/b with 700 MHz Duron. The system POSTs OK. I can enter the BIOS setup OK. It seems to detect the drives correctly. Then it hangs at the prompt "verifying DMI pool data" or something like that. It's 100% repeatable. Any ideas?🙁
