HELP !! just installed GF4 ti4400 and after awhile.. system shut off and won't turn on again...

hi all... I just switched from a TNT2 to a PNY GF4 ti4400 ....

the system has been ruuning fine and stable for a few week... so today .. when I install the GF4 and then start to play Return to Castle Wolf... then after 10 min or so into the game... the machine "puff !" ..shuts down itself (like someone unplugged it) ... and it just won't come back on now...

I have tried to reset the BIOS... I make sure everything is tie and it just won't come back on again...

any idea ? please help ...

It sounds like a possible power supply issue.

Does it come back on with your TNT2?

no, I even removed the GF4 and it still won't turn on ..

when I press the power button .. the fan will move/share a bit and it went dead again ..... ..

with just the mobo .. and no GF4 .. no HD no CD ... it won't come on .. none of the CPU or the mobo fan is turning....


.. now.. tell me I didn't burnt my mobo


you think it is a PS problem ? ... the PS just dead all the sudden ?

just swapped PS w/ another system... and yes .the PS is dead

I'd recommend a 350 W Enermax whisper power supply to replace the dead one. I have one and it's great, and very quiet also. I've heard good things about Antec also.
