Help!! Just built new system and no power!

Ok here's the story,

I have two systems with similar parts that I built running already so I think I am capable. i just put together a complete system with these parts:

POS case
MSI pro 2a
750 Duron
256MB ram
CD HD etc.

SO I go to turn it on and no power (power supply suspected). I remove each part one by one testing until I am left with only a case, PS, chip, and motherboard. I think it's the PS so I take it out and put it in my other case PS clicks on (setup same as above). SO the power supply is good so I try switching chips, chip is good. Case suspected (hey I don't see how, but I thought it wasn't grounding good) put suspected Mobo in other case, and you guessed it, no turn on. SO after trying everything I know it's the Mobo. Is there anything else I can try? This mobo is brand new, just got it today. Also I have never been in this situation before where I got mailed a bad part, how do the online vendors usually handle this? Do I send it to them or MSI. This is making me angry, please help!

Oh yeah and if I do get a new mobo(purchased from tcwo) how long is this process usually? I'll be upset if I have to wait like weeks. Of course not as upset as I'll be if I don;t get a new one!

Thanks for the help...

Not to sound condescending (I've done it myself) but have you made sure your case buttons are hooked up correctly?

Another late night stupid mistake I've made a few times is having the power supply switch turned off. One time I forgot to plug in the power supply to the motherboard also.

birddog, it takes a big man to admit that they didn't plug it in or turn it on. 😉
