HELP - Iwill USB adapter

Ok, where can I find the USB header/adapter to plug into the motherboard? I have heard that all USB adapters of this sort or compatible, and a good one to get is this Belkin one. But, at $28.00 I feel like it's kind of a ripoff for something I know will feel like it costs $0.50 to make. So, is this the right part, and are there any cheaper alternatives?
