I built a sysytem around the Iwill KA-266-R, and the first time I boot up, CPU is recognized. CD-ROM as well, but hard drive not (later I realized I had forgotten to plug in the hard drive's molex connector).
I reboot, and this time it says Bios Checksum error, and prompts me to insert a boot disk of some sort.
I go to the Iwill site (using a different computer) , and download a bios update disk...I put that on a 3.5" floppy, reboot, put it in, and it loads, but when it reaches the intial bios update screen, it freezes and does not load any longer.
I cannot get any further than this screen.
Any ideas? I tried clearing the CMOS, but it didn't work.
