Help! I've got a stripped screw! **SOLVED**

I'm replacing my car's radio and one of the screws got stripped, what are some ways to get it out!

Thanks! :Q

See post on bottom, I used a hacksaw to cut a slot in it 😀

It's a phillips and just the phillips part is stripped 🙁 I tried pliers, they don't help!

what pliers are you using? needle nose might not get you enough grip. Try arc-joints.

If enough of the head is exposed, you may be able to grab it with vice grips. If you don't know what that is, it's like pliers with a lever locking mechnanism.

I used a hacksaw to cut a slot into it, then I used a hammer to put a large screwdriver into it and it came out yayy!

Looks like my suggestion was a good one 🙂

Yep, I'd give you a ten but you've got voting off 😉
