Help! I've got a stripped screw! **SOLVED**

I'm replacing my car's radio and one of the screws got stripped, what are some ways to get it out!

those craftsman stripped screw removers actually work pretty well, if only the head is stripped.

if the head is still attached...use pliers to grip it and twist it.

It's a phillips and just the phillips part is stripped I tried pliers, they don't help!

what pliers are you using? needle nose might not get you enough grip. Try arc-joints.

if not, dremel is your friend.

If enough of the head is exposed, you may be able to grab it with vice grips. If you don't know what that is, it's like pliers with a lever locking mechnanism.

I used a hacksaw to cut a slot into it, then I used a hammer to put a large screwdriver into it and it came out yayy!
