Help: itunes won't recognize upgraded IOS6 iphone4

My iphone4 needs Itunes 10.6.3 or later.

I've tried to install Itunes 10.7 but it needs Mac OS 10.6.8 and I'm on 10.5.8.

I'm trying to see if I can downgrade IOS6 to 5.1.1. The issue I am having when I try to restore from a previous back up, the text says it *will install the latest iOS* and then I can restore my backup. This would leave me in a worse situation as I'm on 10.5.8 which would mean my iphone4 wouldn't be recognized in itunes and it would be wiped!

Been trying to find a Itunes 10.6.3 link to download as well.

I'm off on holiday in 9hrs and I have a bunch of important info on the phone that I need for my holidays. In hindsight I shouldn't have upgraded to iOS6! Doh!

All I wanted was to resync the videos in iTunes. I needed to unsync them as my phone didn't have enough space left.

You can't downgrade iOS without some hackery that involves having saved certain data from the old install. So it's highly unlikely you're going to be able to downgrade. Sorry.
