HELP iTunes wont let me get rid of my library

i want to start over new fresh library (current has old song files and copies) i got rid of copies and dont feel like deleting every other file (5000) yeah that sucks i tried deleting library files in i tunes folder and uninstalled all of i tunes there has to be some file somewhere that tells itunes the old files plz help!

ummm... just click library on the right side, highlight everything, and hit delete.

hope this doesnt delete all my music files (on hd) thnx never knew that select all was there
