Help! Iomega 12/4/32

Hey, I got the staples deal on the Iomega 12/4/32, and I installed it (keeping my old HP 2/2/16 in my system) and it worked great, but it made me uninstall my Adaptec Easy Creator 4.0 to replace it with the limited iomega version of it. Since I lost some features, I loaded up Nero Burning rom, and it didn't see the iomega, only my old one, clone CD, the same deal! I uninstalled the iomega software and put the full version of Easy CD on, and it couldn't find the new iomega drive either. So I put their software back on, it works fine if you use it, but no other program sees the drive. What the heck is up with this drive? Is it so branded that you have to use their software to run it? A scam to get you to upgrade to the full Easy CD 4.0 from them?

Anyone else with this problem? Does flashing it with the Sanyo bios take care of it, if so?

u need to update to nero 5.0.3.8 and clone 2.8.3.1
