Help, Internet Explorer Keeps Locking Up

I figured there are a lot of smart people on this board so I thought I would ask. Everytime I open IE to go to a webpage it will load the page then lock up. Other net apps like instant messenger keep working but IE wont respond to any clicks or anything. I reinstalled my modem but no go. I would try to use Netscape but I cant get to a webpage to dl it cuz it locks up. If I use AOL it locks up too. Any ideas? Should I reinstall win98? If I did that it will only overwrite the windows files right? Thanks for any help.
 
uninstal IE first then reinstall IE or reinstall windows and reinstall ie. If that doesnt work then reformat the hardrive. Make sure u are not overclock ur system.
 
Reinstall Internet Explorer. This happened to me when I upgraded my CPU. A quick reinstall of IE fixed it!
