HELP internet explorer CRASHES

every time i on internet explorer online it frezes every once and awile. but not when im doing programs on the computer. i can also play games allday long online with no probles.like i said i can use internet explore allday long with out the internet and its fine. i am running McFee anti vires and i have none detected. need lost of help on this 1. Thanks

In order for us to understand this problem, we need more details. Please could you post info on your system (i.e. make model of components, OS version, etc.) Also list the specific details of any antivirus and firewall programs you may be running.

ya it dose freez will i scroll but only online it did it befor i put a firewall on and ati vires program. i inquired this comp so i really dont know what it has or the specs on it. i do know it a nvidieo card just dont know what kind it is.running 256 ram 900 atholon proseser.linksay nic no probs over heating. i dled the latest drivers for the vidieo card. that did not help. generic sound card asus mother bord (just cuase i can see it) he he i dont know what eals u might need to know? u have to ask me. 😱 im still new at this stuff.
