I am new to Linux but want to learn more. The only "free" (I am not a fan of dual booting for one thing) machine I have is a G4 400. I downloaded the ISO for Yellow Dog and began the install. I chose the Default. Everything seemed to go well.
I got a notice that the install had completed successfully. Right before the reboot a dialogue box popped up telling me that I had no bootstrap partition and would have to reinstall.
What is a bootstrap partition and how do I make it? I am not trying to dual boot this machine, as it will be Linux only.
Thanks in advance!
