Help! Installing Win98se on new HD! Boot sector to be changed??!

Hey guys, I'm not very good with all these hardware stuffs but I managed to create a partition and format my new Quantum 20GB HD. Now I'm trying to install Win98 but I get a message (from the motherboard or bios I think...). Something like: "Warning, hard drive boot sector to be changed. Press Y to continue. Press any other key to quit." or something like that...Then, the installation starts up and its locks after a couple of minutes. A black rectangle appears at the middle of the screen and my PC freezes...I tried to install Win95 and other drives and I have the same problem with the message and the myterious rectangle 😛 BTW I have a old Lucky Star MB with a 166MHz running 😉 Is this a Bios configuration of some sort? I can't manage to find Lucky Star web site 🙁 It's probably down.....

Thanks a bunch!!

Some older Computer will not recognise a hardrive bigger than 7 gigs, see if you can get an update for your bios.
How much ram do you have in there. I beleive win98se needs at least 32 megs to install. 16 minimum

The message is the BIOS virus detection and normal, answer Yes and move on....if it's still freezing check for a BIOS update.
