Hello,
i Got my new laptop which came with Windows 8.

But i want to install Windows 7 on it

First i changed the UEFI to Legacy Support mode

The Anyhow i managed to go to boot menu and booted from USB loded with WIn 7

During Installation I found many Hidden Drives Such As OEM etc

And In the OS drive its saying "WIn 7 cannt be installed on GPT"

1.So should i format the drive and install Win7 ? will it work??

And what are the OEM drives??
Another question is

2. My laptop has 2 drives (except those hidden drives). one is 880gb another 24gb
I want to make 3 drives as 200gb,350gbX2 How can i do?

First I think that's a bad idea. And second, what make the laptop is?

I don't think you have more than one drive in, but you could have a small (24GB) disk for the Intel flash. Go to computer management and post your disks and partitions. Most likely you have a recovery partition setup from the laptop manufacturer.

If you format the disk you will probably be able to install Windows 7 on it. You can partition the disk from the installer, allocate the amount of space you want for the OS and when you get in Windows, use computer management to create the other partitions from the unallocated space left. If you are not familiar with partitions better leave the disk with one partition only.

I would not format the drive and install Windows 7 unless you have already made system images disks/USB. Assuming your copy of Win7 is legit it will work.

OEM drive is probably a partition. Like ArisVer mentioned you could also have a small flash drive, but chances are you have one drive with many partitions.

We could best help you next if you could provide a screen shot of 'Disk Management' showing the layout of your discs. Of course, feel free to blur out anything exciting. 🙂

Make sure you have Secure Boot turned off (presuming so since you have already enabled legacy).

The 24gb is going to be a recovery partition for Windows 8. However, to get past the GPT problem, you will have to remove all partitions from the drive (which you can do upon installation). To make 3 partitions, you will have to go into disk management and partition the drives prior to installing from another computer, or you could choose the repair option from the CD, choose to use the recovery console / command prompt, and use DISKPART from the command line to create the partitions. You can type HELP after starting DISKPART to get the list of commands available. After doing so, reboot and perform the install on the partition of your choosing.

Note that to get rid of the GPT partitions, you may also have to use DISKPART. This tutorial tells you how: http://windows7themes.net/en-us/how-to-delete-gpt-protective-partition-in-windows-7/

You might be able to convert the partition to a dynamic volume and shrink it, then create your two other partitions after installing, alternatively, but I don't remember if Windows lets you do this or not in disk management (I believe it does, but it has been a while).

This. But to answer your question, you would want to tell the Windows 7 installer do remove your "old" partitions and make (or let the Windows installer make) the new partitions.
