Help installing SATA / XP

The XP setup see my SATA HDD, and I can format it and copy all the files I need, after I reboot and get into the GUI setup, I get this error message:

The file 'asms' on Windows XP Pro Service Pack 1 CD is needed.

Copy files from:
globalroot\device\cdrom\i386

I tried putting in c: and d: and e:

I've never had this issue before. It's a legit copy of XP. New sata drive..

Do you have a slipstreamed XP CD? If not that could be the problem. If you have a CD-R/W try following the instructions here to create an install disk with the files needed.
