Hi, since the release of the 1.03 patch I decided that I wanted to start playing BF2 again. I downloaded the patch, and tried installing it but got the error "Cannot find Install folder". I thought the patch might be currupt, so I downloaded another one from a different site but got the exact same error. So, I thought id just unistall the game, then reinstall to fix this problem, but it did not help.
I couldnt even unistall the game properly, I went to add/remove programs and pressed remove but it would not unistall. Then, i went to start, programs EA games and clicked on unistall but that did not make a difference either.
After about 20 minutes of trying those steps over and over, I just decided to try deleting the folder itself and installing again. However, when I put my CD in and press install nothing happens. At first I thought my CD might be broken, but I called up a buddy and borrowed his, same exact problem.
Now i am stuck with BF2 and I cannot install it, unistall it, or patch it. Please help!
