Help installing ACS NV 5 Silencer!!!`

So I'm installing this rev. 2 on my 7800GT, but I am having major problems.

The screws are too long and I can't get the nuts bolted down tight enough for the ACS not to slide around.

The threads on the screws stop way too soon and there is no way to get the nuts down tight enough. The ACS is swimming all over the place.

Any ideas?
