Help Installing a Network

Hello, we are going to be getting RoadRunner pretty soon so we are going to have to set up a network at home. We have 3 computers to hook up and I'm going to use the SMC Barricade router. The problem I am going to have is installing all the cabling for the network. My dad wants to put jacks and such in the walls, but I have basically no knowledge of that, is there a good how-to/tutorial on how to install jacks, run wires, and make the connections from the wire to jack? Thanks.

If your computers are relatively close to each other you could consider going wireless instead of tearing up the walls - Running cable is no fun, especially if you don't have access to the ceiling or floor. If you can get to a crawlspace or a attic it's not too bad, but otherwise it's nasty and takes practice.

Head to CompUsa or some other big computer store. Some of the wireless bridges they sell are pretty cheap and easy to install.
