Help installing a 9600xt..

I previously used a 4200 ti geforce..

Now I am trying to install a ati 9600xt. Here's the kicker. During install, it says to install the "standard VGA driver" and quite out of the install. It will go no further. Icannot force install via device manger as I get the same result. Anyone have this issue??

HELP! My NVidia had no issues like this, just double click and go.
 
Already tried that one.. 🙂

The old -double click and GO- didnt go so well.. It runs for a while, lets you choose custom or express install then does some more "stuff" then gives the error.
