HELP! Installed Radeon 2600Pro PCI-E, now computer wont boot!

mobo: AMD 690G w/onboard video (Radeon 1250)

old video card: Radeon 1550

i dual monitor.

i bought a new 2600Pro. took out the 1550, plugged in the 2600pro.

now screen is frozen at WinXP logo screen when i boot up :(

yeah, i know, put the 1550 back.

but how do i get it to work with the 2600pro?

why? both are radeon. wont the catalyst drivers handle both 1550 and 2600pro?

No, you ALWAYS clean out your drivers when installing a different card. It doesn't matter if its the same manufacturer or not.

uninstalled the drivers, removed the 1550 from mobo, installed 2600pro.

still freezes at winxp logo screen :(

i tried pressing f8 and going into VGA mode. still freezes :(

Which version drivers are you using? There is a hotfix for Cat's... 8.3 I believe.

There's always Omega drivers if the Cats don't work.

i uninstalled the catalyst drivers, and it still freezes at bootup (winxp logo)
