Help!!! Ink mark on my LCD!!!

Hey fellas,

I have a bit of a dilemna here. My nephew got to my lcd monitor with a pen and put a 1" mark across the bottom of the screen. Anyhow does anyone know of a way to remove this?

Uh... didn't someone else have this problem recently? Try searching for another thread on this topic. I don't know that he found a good solution, though!

Rubbing alcohol or glass cleaner (Windex or the like) would be my first choices, but they might remove or discolor the anti-glare coating on your screen if it has one.

Some degreaser sprays might be damaging to the plastic of the screen, so I'd stay away from them.
 
try water and vinegar first, thats what i used to clean my monitors without taking off the anti glare coating

and remember to put the fluid on the cloth - NOT the screen - with the unit turned off.
