As long as it isn't an Epox!
Just a little backstory, I started w/ an Epox 8k7a. That worked for about a week. Then I went to an 8kha. Good for a month. Then my latest, 8k3a+ worked for about 5 months and now that has died. All of the epox board hated my original psu. So I am staying away from Epox like Daikatana. (thank goodness for newegg)

So what board do you guys reccomend? I'm trying to look for a board that has stability but also near the top performance numbers. It would be great if had integrated firewire and ethernet... but that might be asking too much =)

Gigabyte GA-7XRXP, MSI KT3 Ultra 2, Asus A7V333, Soyo Dragon Plus....

They should be close to the top in performance...of course the Epox 8K5A2+ is the fastest at the moment...;)

I'm about to get a XP2000 too, and have seemingly come to the conclusion that the MSI KT3 Ultra2 is probably the best bet out there for performance+price.

Nothing technical. I've read a bunch of reviews and looked at the shootouts. Seems like a great value because you get a good, stable mobo with a great price. This dosn't seem like an overclocking fav, but that's fine as I don't really plan on OC'ing.
