Hi all,
I am having some problems with my new setup, and its been a while since I updated and am a bit out of the loop with the newer technology...my setup is
Core 2 Duo 6400
Gigabyte GA-965P-S3
2GB Corsair DDR2 667mhz (2 x 1gb)
Sata2 WD 250GB (partitioned to 50gb,2 x 100gb)
All latest drivers and bios (I believe)
I was wondering if anyone who has a similar setup could suggest just GOOD bios settings for a sturdy PC, I'm not too interested in overclocking just yet (well maybe a little) but just want this thing running rock solid.
For instance CPUz had my memory running at 333Mhz w/ 5-5-5-15 and FSB-DRAM at 4:5, and the CPU (2133Mhz) Bus Speed at at 266.7Mhz with 8x Multiplier (forget now), and programs/copying files/general windows stuff dont seem to be much quicker at the moment although I havent tried out hardly any as yet.
It just doesnt feel right at the moment, and I'm sure its just settings, but I'm not up there on voltages and how to get 1:1 etc. these bios settings are way over my head.
Thanks for your help in advance!
