Your sentence structure demands a verb in there.

What about "I hope I'm not being a bitch, but could you please clean up your room?"

Or "acting overbearing," if you are talking to children or employees.

"being overbearing" sounds good enough, any more opinions?

If you want a truely grammatically correct answer, I have several options for you:

"I hope that I am not asking too much of you, but would you mind cleaning up your room?"
"Would my asking you to clean up your room be asking too much of you?" (almost awkward for the reader)
"Is asking you to clean up your room asking too much?"

context please - are you talking to your 8 year old child or your slovenly college roomate?

8 year old child: Johnny, you better clean your room now if you ever want to have dessert again!

Slovenly roomate: Hey fucko! why don't you clean your damn room just once this semester so we can reduce the chance of a roach infestation to below 75%!

point at your D!ck, and say "it's not gonna suck itself" than point at his room and say "it's not gonna clean itself!"

the contest does not matter, I just want an adjective that resemble that meaning.

another example:
"I hope I am not asking too much if I ask to leave early for today?"

You have a good idea of how to express that thought now.

You could say, I hope I'm not overstepping my bounds. Or out of line. Hope that helps ;)

"I hope I am not too cromulent, but do you mind clean up your room?"

You're quite welcome. ;)
