Help in choosing a mobo

Hi, i need to buy a mobo for my XP 1700+,my friend has suggested a DFI AD70 SC mobo....are DFI mobos any good?????ohya i will not be over clocking, strictly stock,thnaks please help me

Never tried a DFI board. I use the shuttle ak31a ($78 newegg) and it works great, and is easy to upgrade the bios. Done that 3 times while running windows. Another recommended board is the Epox 8KHA+. Newegg had a refurbished one the other day for only $69 with free shipping. If you need raid, the ak35gtr is good also.

Might wanna consider the Epox 8KHA+ or the Soltek 75DRV2. Both is good mobo. My Epox 8KHA+ is fast & stable.

I'm getting a Iwill 333-R. It's not the fastest out of the bunch but has great overclocking capabilites and also has raid and good sound. Might want to check into it.
