Hi guys,
I need your help. I have a Compaq Presario 1700T and it runs REALLY really hot. I found a cooler (it's called Lasagna ), but I don't know it would fit into my laptop. What do ya guys think? Any advice?
Please help me out here.

Thanks for your help.

Probably not worth the effort/money. Laptops do run warm. If the thing is powering off all of sudden and won't power back on until it cools down, then you have a problem. Besides, in the winter, a warm laptop is a nice thing to have.

I agree fully with JSCHUK. At home, I use a floor fan that blows on my big laptop. On the road it is not as warm and I get by fine. The fundamental thing about laptops is that saving money by getting faster celerons and AMDs is accepting higher temperatures. Stick with Intel mobile CPUs for coolest running. In laptops, you really do get what you pay for.
