Help! I'm laging like hell

I'm having some problems play max payne. After I did some tweaks with radeon tweak I started to lag like hell in max payne. I tryed to restore orignal settings but it still won't work. Any ideas?BTW I also have the lastest drivers installed.

computer spec:
1GHZ AMD (266)
ECS KT7VZA (rev 3)
256 MB sdram
41 gig IBM 60GXP
Radeon le(180/180)(hyperz enabled)
Win ME

can you try removing the card (drivers) and reboot, let windows find the card, then update the drivers again

did install the latest drivers and the tweak utility at the same time....what i am asking is are you sure it was the tweaking that created teh problem or is it possibly the driver installation....remove the tweak utility completely and see if that helps and even uninstall and reinstall the video card drivers after you remove the utility
