ok my set up is below, with the exception of a 200Gb seagate IDE hdd which im useing at the moment with the problems im haveing!

Am i doing anything wrong? im new to the 64 only rally played with xp chips in the past!

I can NOT get my system to run stable at anything above 215 FSB, settings are:

Max Mem clocks - tryed 166 - 200 - auto

High Performance - manual
Aggressive timings - disabled
Dynamic Overclock - disabled
Spread Spectrum - disabled
HT Frequency- 4x
Cool n Quiet - disabled
Adjust CPU Ratio - Startup also tryed 9x
Adjust FSB Frequency - only get upto 215 stable
Adjust AGP Frequency - 66
CPU Voltage - Default
Memory Voltage - Default and also tryed 2.7
AGP Voltage - default

Forgot to mention ram is in green 1 and purple 1 as its double sided, i think thats right ????? or could this be my problem...

This is really peeeing me off :( my CPU temp is showing @ 28C to 32C

Any suggestions would be more then welcome!! cheers guys...

Set agp frequency to 67...it may not be locking....You need I believe bios 1.3 or newer to get that fixed...

I would flash to bios 1.36 or 1.37mod to start with....

I would set the cpu to 1.5v since it undervolts severely...probably actually be 1.43v...
I would set agp to 1.6v
I would set vdimm to 2.7v

Ram I would set to 166 for now with cas 2.5,4,4,10 timings....very safe timings

Also possible known issues with Neo or True power supplies...cant remember which but I remember reading about one of them....

Actually your system is acting like mine did out of the gate without a bios flash cause it was like shiped with 1.1 or 1.2 version....It wouldn't post past 220 and I sure was not stable there....Ultimately it does up to 300fsb tested...

the board can be a bit temperamental with winchesters and there are some issues with RAM too.

Glad you got it ironed out.
