Help:: I'm denied access to my corrupt Win2k Partition

Hi guys. I'm locked out or "access denied" to my D: . On D: is a partition of win2k that refused to boot ... so i installed winXP on a different HD and decided to boot into XP to get into the 2k HD so that I could keep my files. But like i said access is denied... what's the solution to this??? thanks!

Right click the drive, select properties>Security Tab. Add in your current user account and give it full control access. Make sure the permissions propogate down.
