I installed Vista 5600 on my T40, realized it wouldn't run certain games I like, and got kind of frustrated. I then proceeded to install Windows XP alongside Vista in a folder called /WINDOZE on the same partition. Then, Windows XP booted no problem, but there was no option to boot from Vista, so I repaired Vista, and now there's no option to boot to XP! If there's anyone who knows how to mess around with Vista's MBR (I think that's what it's called?) please, please let me know.

Thanks everyone!

Well first off that's not the proper way to set up a dual boot...
Just wipe you hdd and start over...
This time with partitions...!!!

You're right, I've done it before properly with PartitionMagic. Is your solution the only way though? The problem is that I can't find a partition program like PartitionMagic for Windows Vista, so when I upgraded from XP to Vista I was pretty screwed from the start. Is there any other way?

Partition the drive and load XP in the first partition.

Then put in the Vista cd and when you go to load it should ask if you want to setup a dual boot. Say yes then tell it to load in the second partition when it asks.

Oops, should have mentioned, you will be able to setup the partitions in the XP install.
