HELP!! ie6.0 won't download from net....

This is the cast, i am using windows xp with IE6 of course.

Whenever i click on the file i wish to download,

IE just open a blank page with the correct shortcut the the address bar,

but do nothing.

Is there anyone with the same experiences? Please help.
