Help: IE5.5 SP2 can't store cookie

Usually when I go to my ebay page, my user id already fill in, I only need to supply password.
But now my user id is blank all the time.
Also when I visit ebates, it will show I already log in.
Now I can't even log in.
I click log in, put in name and password and click sign in.
Then it goes back to the ebates home page like nothing happen (not registered).
I think this happen after installing the latest security patch (IE crash couple of times after that, bringing down win 2k too)

I've check the cookie setting (it is enabled).
does anyone have this kind of problem ?

I use Win 2K pro.

Lower your Security or Privacy level.

In tools>internet options>security>custom level> scroll to cookies. make sure that they are either enabled or set to prompt. Might be your fix.....
