Help identifying a program to create animations

Someone was telling me about some software going by the name "Slash" that's supposedly used to make animations much like using flash.

I've tried searching around for this "slash" without any luck... anyone ever came across this software or used it before? Am I making a typo or have I been misinformed? Help!

is this some kind of counterfeit software made in china or something...?

the only Slash i know is the axe-slinger in GnR

That's the only Slash i'm familiar with myself!

Looks like I'll have to wait until Thursday when I meet the guy again to find out more info about this.

All I know is he said he used it when he worked in Venezuela and it was similar to Flash.

I'll have to mention that to him... swish does make sense in terms of what he was talking about, just can't understand why he went through the trouble of spelling Slash for me though.

Probably talking about Swish... But isn't that just a plugin for flash for animating letters?
