"I'm not just talking about one person, I'm talking about everybody. I'm talking about form! I'm talking about content! I'm talking about interrelationships! I'm talking about God, the Devil, Hell, Heaven! Do you understand? Finally?"

Heard it in a song. The audio sounds old. Like Twilight Zone old.

That's the one. I give this post my stamp of approval.

It says it's a quote by Harding. I forget which crazy guy that is.

I find it funny you you both refer to it as a song and a movie, but not in its original form as a book. God bless America!

It's the older guy who has issues with his wife and constantly belittles others, while getting very pissed off when Christopher Lloyd calls him a...whatever term was in fashion for homosexual, I can't remember.

Perhaps because movies are a "higher" form of entertainment than books?
Those of us with media addictions can get our fix from a movie, where as a book requires more effort and also THE PAGES ARE NOT BACKLIT!

I haven't seen the movie. I loved the book. One of my favorites. I do want to see the movie at some point.
