Question Help ID the WFH lagging

I work for a small company without IT staff, we have RDP setup for people to remote into their stations and it is a mix result. I personally have no issue and 99.9% solid, 100mb internet, cheap router(max out at 40mbps down) then Deco M4(now 150mbps down) mesh.

What I tell from using the cheap router early on was if I get over 20mbps it should be a smooth ride but I have co workers getting 30-40mbps(wire or wifi) exp major lag for example zooming in and out of a drawing. But if I remote into their station I have no issue.

Most of them use the ISP provided modem/router combo box.

Where do I start to find the weak link of their home network?

You are not, but more likely it's because they are on WiFi or their home network or even neighborhood is far more congested.

Like I said we tried both wire and wifi with similar result, if it is congested then nothing we can do but it is is anywhere inside the home we would like to ID it to give a smoother exp.
