Help! I want to know exactly how to get my RADEON 32 ddr LE to perform good

I just installed my new radeon 32mb ddr, and I would like to know how to make this sucker perform. I downloaded the latest versions of the supported drivers from ATI and also a version of powerstrip. I have done no reg edits and I have not deleted any programs from the ati install. I am runiing windows 98 se on a 650 classic athlon with 128 mb of ram.
I would like some help knowing what exactly to do and in what oder to overclock this card and get the full hyper z functioning, I can't figure out how to up the clock speed in powerstip, also should I just go ahead and download direct x 8 and try the unsupported drivers from ATI, Has anyone tried them? I am using dierct x 7.oa now I think. I think this card is gonna be killer especially when compared to my old tnt2 m64, but right now out the box it seems about the same. PLEEZ help me tweak this thing to peak performance!

Install DX8, get the special purpose drivers and add these reg keys and report the differences you get:

sweet! are there some files I should delete from the ATI install? also how do I over clock on powerstip, I just downloaded it last night so I am working on the learning curve, I think I have the latest version from intech taiwan or whatever I also had the serial from serials 2k so I think I have all the features, I dunno, but anyway I wanna over clock this to really see it perform, I want to blow my old tnt2 m64 away

I also noticed that in some games particularly ONI, that once I put my radeon in there were some wierd effects, part of the hud you use similar to quake scrables up in some wierd ways on to sometimes return to normal for a few seconds then when you ove again it scrambles up and not all of the hud just the outside trasparent ring that surrounds the readouts, what would cause this video anomolie. The same area was always readable with my tnt2
