My friend just got an VisionTek GF3 and gave me his VisionTek GF2 Ultra. When I got the board, I went to the geocities site and performed only half of the RFI Circuitry modification (I don't really feel comfortable shorting inductors yet.) So I use a flat head and pry off the 9 resistors. I pop the card into my machine and the system keeps detecting the card as a Geforce 2 GTS/PRO? Could removing the resistors caused my system to think the card is a Geforce 2 GTS/PRO? Someone help me out here! :(

Yea, I just took off the resistors. I did this "partial" mod on my Geforce 2 GTS and everything worked fine.

What would be a good program to check what my core/mem speeds are running at? I ran 3dmark 2001 and got a score of 3178. That score is pretty low for a Geforce 2 Ultra card however sounds about par for a Geforce 2 Pro 64MB.:(

I don't know how to fix your problem, sorry :(.

Just thought I'd note that it was awfully nice of your friend to give you his GeForce2 Ultra!
