help i think i just fried my apacer ram!

I smelled something and immediately shut down my computer and realized its the ram. When i took it out it was really hot, and i heard cracking noises coming from the ram, and i also see one of the golden plates was melted. Are apacers good with their warrenty? I tried calling them, but no one is there. all the numbers wants me to leave a message.

I have an Apacer stick that went bad also. About a week out of warranty from the co. I bought the computer from so they would not help. Left messages on that answering machine and e mailed them several times. No response ever.

Post that phone number so I can see if it is the same one I called and Ill let you know if I have any more luck.
