help!!!!! i put dishwash fluid in the dishwasher.

hahahahhaha

it may cause damage to the washer. also be carefull when oepening the door. it makes a mess.

Bad news is its gonna get messy if you try to clean it out by running it ... regular soap interferes with the water-tight seal around the diswasher door.

Take everything out & wash it by hand, then clean as much soap as possible out of the inside before you run it to minimize the leakage & then have lots of towels on standby.

Edit: I only know this because my father-in-law did it a few years ago & thats what the repair-service they called said to do.

Get a cup and scoop out the suds. Turn dishwasher back on with no soap in it. Repeat scooping. Turn dishwasher back on with no soap in it. Repeat scooping. Continue this process until you have no suds. Run full cycle with water only. Done.

Jesus is punishing you for having such a huge signature. Try praying harder next time.

Also, I did this once - flooded my kitchen with suds. I was 7.

yeah it was leaking out too. just spent last hour cleaing out all the water and foam that came out. . man i sure messed up.
i have set it to heated dry. i am hoping some of the heat removes that stuff.

so you guys recommend removing everything and cleaning by hand. ?

I think the key here is to try and get all the soap out of the machine, then running some cycles without soap to get all the lingering dishwashing soap out of there.

Again, thats what the Sears repair-guy told my mother-in-law so I'd go with it.

I did that once when I was about 13 and didn't realize until way late in the cycle. 1/2 of my Kitchen was foamed! rofl...

Have fun.

....how stupid do you have to be to use regular dish soap in a dishwaser. Have you ever USED regular dish soap before. Ya know what happens when you add it to the water when it's filling up the sink right?

Btw my fater-in-law will be happy to know he's not the only one who ever did this ... he's been taking crap about it from the whole family for years! 😛

I've done it also....two times in the same day. That either makes me a slow learner, or a major contributor to the Budweiser legacy...or both. Just run it again with no detergent.
