Every time I start up my win98, i get this funny message in the begining. It says "Unable to load dynamic link library." and the file msnp32.dll is needed. I think this has something to do with networking, how do I fix this problem? Thanx in advance. 🙂

You need to go to the help menu in Windows, it will tell you how to extract the dll out of a .cab file on your win98 cd. If you do not have a win98 cd, go to the microsoft site and download the dll.

or just use the microsoft cd and do a selective recovery on all .dll files if you can do that but if you can't do what I'm Typing said to do

Or...

If you've got another Win98 machine you can go to. Find it on their machine, copy it to disk, then dump it into your machine.

This trick has worked for me NUMEROUS times.

Good luck

Or, just open Regedit, do a search for all the files with a .dll extension, and delete every one of them. JUST KIDDING!!!!!
