help! I need to learn Powerpoint in a hurry!

I'm currently seeking a new job and most of the positions I want to apply for require intermediate to advanced Powerpoint skills. I'm relatively computer savvy but have never had to use Powerpoint before. What's the best way to learn it? I've literally never used it before, so bear that in mind. Can anyone point me in the direction of a (preferably free) Powerpoint tutorial? Other advice is also welcome. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Or start playing with it... it's pretty self explanitory to get the basics down. Then effects and whatnot can be found by googling, looking at the help file, etc...
