HELP. I need to d/l a free program to create a data CD.

Yes, it came with Easy CD Creator or something like that but I can't find the CD and that version probably won't work wuith XP anyway. My CD Burner is ony 2x (gasp, shock, horror) but I just need to get some files saved on it.

You seriously need to update your sig.

If you're running XP, just use the built in burning capabilities.

CDRwin, only lets you burn at 1x if you dont register it. but thats not a prob for you

I am having trouble using the XP file manager to make the data CD, this me needing something else... and nero is giving me trouble too. Is there anything else?

go to CNET's Download.com and type in burn and search. They have tons of options (shareware, freeware, demo...).
